Shiv is currently teaching his annual Quantitative Fluorescence Microscopy course. The course covers the basics of fluorescent microscopy and image analysis in an intensive 3 week class. Find out more about it here.

Congratulations to Anja (again!) for winning the University of Minnesota Foundation's Ross A. Gortner Award. This award is given annually to an advanced graduate student in recognition of their scholarly contributions in the areas of Enzymology and/or Protein Chemistry and is given to a BMBB graduate student in recognition of consistent, high quality research.

Shiv and Fred attend 2019 Molecular Pharmacology Gordon Conference

Shiv and Fred got a reprieve from snowy Minneapolis in sunny Los Angeles while attending the 2019 Molecular Pharmacology Gordon Conference. While there, they each presented a poster, met with collaborators, and generally talked science non-stop!
